Code of Conduct

The V Rising Code of Conduct only applies to Official Stunlock Studios servers. Official Stunlock Studios servers can be identified by the V Rising logo to the left of the server name in the server select screen.


Private servers may utilize their own rules or Code of Conduct, at the discretion of the server owner. For more information on a private server's Code of Conduct, or if you need to report rules violations on the private server specifically, please contact the private server's owner or administrator directly.


These rules are not meant to be an exhaustive list of prohibited behavior. We reserve the right to amend and add to it in order to preserve the integrity of our users' experiences.

 

Offensive Language

  1. Users found to use offensive and/or vulgar language are subject to penalty. You may not use any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language. This includes all communication with other players, including character names.

  2. Real-life threats to and harassment of other users is always unacceptable.

Cheating

  1. The use of third-party programs to automate parts of the game or gain unfair advantage is explicitly forbidden and will result in action against your account.

  2. You may not exploit any bug, and you will not communicate the existence of any such exploitable bugs to gain unfair advantage over or degrade others' game experience. You will promptly report any such bugs to support staff. You can read more about reporting bugs here: How to Report Bugs

Behavior

  1. Users are expected to treat each other with respect. This includes actions that result in degrading the game experience for other users such as griefing and mass spamming. This behavior can take many forms, and we retain the right to apply penalties for behaviors unlisted, which we deem inappropriate.

  2. Excessive spamming of in-game chat, with or without commercial purpose, is prohibited.

  3. You may not arrange for the exchange or transfer of any pirated or illegal software, nor engage in the buying and selling of accounts, services or items involving the use of real currency.

  4. You may not impersonate any Stunlock Studio employees or volunteer groups, or claim to have exploitable connections to Stunlock Studio employees or volunteer groups.

  5. Falsely reporting players with the intent of having them banned will result in actions against your account.
