If you’ve received a ban while playing V Rising and believe it may have been issued unfairly or would like to request a second chance, we’re here to guide you through the process of submitting a ban appeal.
Please read the instructions below carefully to determine where to direct your appeal and what information is required for us to review your case.
Types of Bans in V Rising
There are two distinct multiplayer server environments in V Rising:
1. Official Servers (Hosted by Stunlock Studios)
- Maintained and moderated directly by the Stunlock team.
- Ban appeals for these servers can be submitted via our Support Portal
2. Private or Dedicated Servers
- Operated by individual players or communities
- All administrative decisions, including bans, are handled solely by the server owner or their appointed moderation team
⚠️ Please Note: Stunlock Studios does not have access to or authority over player bans issued on private or third-party servers.
Submitting an Appeal for an Official Server Ban
If your ban occurred on an official server, you may submit an appeal to our Customer Support team. To process your request efficiently, please provide all of the following information:
- Name of the official server (e.g., EU Official 1060)
- Your in-game character name (e.g., Nick11)
- Your SteamID (Example: 7656119XXXXXXXXXX) If you’re unsure how to locate this, please follow this guide: How to Find Your SteamID
Common Reasons for Official Bans
Bans on official servers are typically the result of:
- Inappropriate or abusive language in chat
- Harassment, threats, or griefing behavior
- Use of unauthorized software, scripts, or exploits
Our moderation policies are in place to protect the integrity of the game and to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all players. If your ban occurred on a private or dedicated server, please note:
- We are not able to view, reverse, or manage bans on privately hosted servers
- All appeals for private servers must be directed to the server owner, admin, or responsible point of contact for moderation the private server.
